This lovely syrup is intended to bring a little calming and connecting spirit vibes to your sunny afternoons, a little minty green herbal magick into your summertime drinks. Simply add a few dropper fulls into a glass, add some soda or mineral water and some mint leaves and there you have it. A delicious and pretty cooling and refreshing drink , fit for all those searching for connection, creativity and a bit of cooling. If you are so inclined you could add to smoothies, or even to cocktails or tea if you so wish!

This palm free glycerine extract is made by hand by Misty and utilises these three magickal ingredients:

Jiaogulan This may be a herb you have not heard of before but it is a winner. A member of the cucumber family, jiaogulan is known in Southern China both as the herb of immortality or as miracle grass. It is a true adaptogen and has similar chemical constituents to the gold standard in adaptogens - ginseng. For this reason, it has similar attributes to ginseng although is not as stimulating and is cooling in nature - it promotes calm energy, supports against the ill effects of stress, promotes libido, mental acuity and healthy immunity. Predominantly drunk as a sweet tea, jiaogulan promotes spiritual heart felt connection between people, soothes frazzled nerves and uplifts.

Yerba Matè - Discovered by the indigenous peoples of the forests of Paraguay and Brazil , matè was known as a herb sent from the gods and was mostly used mostly for supporting physical stamina. In fact, it is said that matè provides the strength of coffee, the health attributes of tea, and the euphoria of chocolate. From a spiritual perspective, yerba mate was used for worship and religious and other important tribal ceremonies . Although now a daily routine in many modern South American countries, it is still a spiritual herb, forming an integral part of daily rituals for connection, communication and the sharing of ideas and energies with friends and family.

Spearmint - One of my very favourite culinary and medicinal herbs, spearmint is cooling and refreshing and uplifting. It has been used in both medicine and as a tea since time began for everything from digestive upset, hiccups and mental clarity to divination. From a spiritual perspective spearmint is It is a strengthening herb that aids us in psychic and verbal communication and adds conviction to our words. It feeds the spirit and cools the body when its overheated.

Why is it called Spirit Nectar? Its a light green hue and contains three herbs used to enhance connection and communication between people, to lighten the spirit and to enliven the body.

What does it taste like? On its own it is very sweet thanks to the glycerine and the sweet grass flavour of jiaogulan and its really quite minty! Added to soda water it has a light flavour and colour and lends itself to cooling refreshing tipples!
