PMS FIRST AID SLICE
I don't know about you lot but my PMS can sometimes be a mild case of the "just not rights" to a pretty major case of "I'm going to eat all the kids confiscated Halloween lollies from last year and cry over Friends repeats"
I know eating chocolate is not a fix but sometimes you just want a wee treat to get you over the hump. Give yourself a break, have an adaptogenic caramel slice!
What you need & how to make it!
Ingredients
Base
1 cup hemp seeds
1 cup dates
4 tablespoons black sesame
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Filling
1 cup dates
3 tablespoons cashew butter
1/4 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons Bliss Brew
Choc Top
Whittakers Chocolate Melted
Little hot coconut mylk
Method
Whizz all the base ingredients up in the food processor and then press into a lined or greased tart tin. Put in the fridge to set.
Blitz it all filling ingredients together, then spread onto the base and freeze until firm.
Melt chocolate with some warmed coconut mylk and then spread onto the two layers.
Wait until firm and then hide it under the veges so the kids and partner don,t see it. Eat it secretly directly out of the fridge or lock your self in the bathroom and eat at will!
