He Shou Wu Popcorn
Vegan Cheesy Popcorn boosted with the benefits of he shou wu for supporting healthy energy and spiritual connection.
Makes enough for a Netflix session
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon Misty Day He Shou Wu powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (more or less depending on your preference)
¼ teaspoon paprika powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
sea salt to taste (1/4-1/2 teaspoon)
1 tbsp coconut oil
¼ cup corn kernels
Into a small bowl add he shou wu, nutritional yeast, turmeric, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, and sea salt. Stir to combine and set aside.
Make popcorn with coconut oil according to the directions on the pack
Once done transfer the popcorn into a big bowl. Add the seasoning and mix quickly and well so the popcorn is evenly coated. If the seasoning doesn't stick, you can add 1 teaspoon melted coconut oil and mix again.
